
Davroe was proud to recently support The Leukaemia Foundation inaugural Long Table Lunch, held at Bent Creek Vineyard.
The Leukaemia foundation is Australia’s peak research and support body for blood cancer.
Support is provided by their extensive team of highly trained Blood Cancer Support Coordinators, who are there to help throughout the patients entire blood cancer experience.
All services are provided at no charge to patients and families and are available in metropolitan, regional and rural areas across Australia.
The foundation receives no ongoing government funding and they rely on the generous support of the community to fund their Vision to Cure and Mission to Care.
Since 1975, the Leukaemia Foundation has set an international benchmark in patient support and care.
They have invested millions of dollars into research for better treatments and cures.
The Leukaemia Foundation SA has built a $10 million Bridgestone Australia Village in Adelaide’s north eastern suburbs as an accommodation facility for patients and families living with this ailment.

Opened in October 2013, this purpose-built complex includes 15 two and three bedroom apartments, as well as recreational facilities including a games room, gym and children’s play area.
This is just one example of how the charity works to assist those facing the challenge that is Blood Cancer.
