Australian fashion house Third Form proudly debuted its first solo show at Australian Fashion Week, unveiling their ‘re-FORM’ Resort 25 collection. Celebrating creativity, innovation, inclusivity, and luxury, ‘re-FORM’ signifies a pivotal moment in the brand’s journey, returning to superior craftsmanship and design. This coming-of-age collection encapsulates the brand’s evolution into the premium contemporary market while underscoring its dedication to diversity and sustainability.

“We designed this collection with the Third Form woman in mind every step of the way. I recently became a mother and it’s taught me to cherish the design process and enjoy every stage, much like the precious moments with my daughter. Each garment in our Resort 25 collection is multifaceted, showcasing a symphony of colors, textures, and nuanced detailing. Our aim was to create pieces that transcend trends as an ode to the timeless allure of individual expression.” – Merryn Kelly, Founder and Director, Third Form.
Exploring the essence of modern femininity, Third Form’s Resort 25 collection contrasted raw edges and suiting staples with daring cutouts, floral jacquards, and dazzling sequins as models graced the runway at the iconic Carriageworks Gallery III in Sydney. The brand’s renowned crushed satin range, ‘CRUSH’, was also reimagined into new, wearable silhouettes for summer. With full traceability from tree to fibre, the ‘CRUSH’ collection is made using Eastman Naia™ cellulosic fibres that are certified biodegradable and compostable.

Since their debut group show in 2016, Third Form have moved away from the ‘see now, buy now’ model, making a conscious move towards ‘slow fashion’ with the runway collection being available from October.
“Our pieces are timeless, everlasting and are certainly worth the wait. We will use the time to perfect fits, finishes and allow our bespoke manufacturing teams time to craft premium pieces” – Merryn Kelly, Founder and Director, Third Form
In line with their recent expansion into accessories, Third Form meticulously curated a collection of bags, perfectly paired with the runway looks. Complementary footwear from Charles & Keith and jewellery from Noah The Label added the final touches.
Davroe, a renowned name in haircare, collaborated with Third Form for the Australian Fashion Week debut. Under the creative direction of Madison Voloshin, the Davroe styling team brought to life the hair look for the show, inspired by a natural style that embraced texture and celebrated the diversity of different hair types.

The team used a range of Davroe products including Body Volume Texture (BVT), Thermaprotect, Fabricate Texture Spray, Murray River Salt Spray, CURLiCUE Curl Activator, CURLiCUE Curl Balm, and Complete Aerosol Hairspray to achieve the desired effect on multiple models, creating a cohesive yet individualized aesthetic.

Embracing individuality, Third Form partnered with Davroe and Shark to create hairstyles that accentuated each model’s natural beauty. Foreo and Bobbi Brown completed these looks with flawless matte makeup, featuring a slightly dewy finish and softly defined eyes.
