In the heart of Adelaide, a vibrant community is rallying behind a passionate hairdresser with a mission. Robby Lippett, the dynamic founder of ATTABOY, a unisex barber and hairdresser salon, is embarking on a remarkable journey to raise $80,000 for the Little Heroes Foundation. Supporting childhood dementia is a cause close to his heart after a life-changing conversation with Little Heroes Foundation Founder, Chris McDermott.
The Challenge: Running for a Cause
For Robby, running has never been a joy. It’s been more of a chore than a choice, something to be avoided rather than embraced. But all of that changed when he learned about the severe impact of Childhood Dementia and the extraordinary work done by the Little Heroes Foundation. Inspired by their dedication, Robby made the decision to take on a challenge that would push him to his limits: running an 80-kilometre stretch from Victor Harbour to Glenelg.
Each kilometre of this run symbolizes a $1,000 contribution towards his $80,000 goal, turning his physical struggle into a beacon of hope for children suffering from this devastating condition.
Davroe’s Commitment: Supporting a Local Hero
At Davroe, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another, especially when it comes to such a noble cause. Robby’s determination and the incredible work of the Little Heroes Foundation have inspired us to take action.
To support Robby’s “Run Robby Run” campaign, we are committed to raising funds and spreading awareness about Childhood Dementia. To help support Robby’s cause for the Little Heroes Foundation, all DAVROE online orders will include an option for a $5 contribution.
This small act can make a big difference in helping Robby reach his goal and supporting the foundation’s mission as a whole.
