A Timeline of Dresslier’s Milestones:
- 1930: Dresslier is founded, laying the groundwork for a legacy in haircare manufacturing.
- 1953: John Sloan (a pharmacist from Bristol England) becomes the new owner of Dresslier

- 1957: The company Dresslier expands its operations in the personal care sector by moving premises to Sweetmans Place now called Daws Rd, Edwardstown
- 1963: Robert Sloan (eldest son of John) started working at Dresslier as a store man for three years, before being promoted to the sale force

- 1970: David Sloan (youngest son of John) started working at Dresslier; he had completed his Hairdressing Apprenticeship and joined the business to assist John with product development and manufacturing

- 1974: Dresslier began distributing internationally known brands like Redken, Lorraine and Suter

- 1979: Dresslier expands and opens their office and HQ in Western Australia, continuing to distribute global haircare and salon equipment brands

- 1984: Mary joins Dresslier as a receptionist at the age of 15, marking the beginning of a transformative journey within the company

- 1987: Dresslier introduces Davroe, an innovative, natural plant-based haircare range, setting new standards in the industry. Davroe is made up of David’s name ‘Dav’ and Robert’s name ‘Roe’

- 1996 Stuart (John’s Grandson & David’s son) starts with Dresslier, he will go on to be the companies’ third-generation Formulating Chemist
- 2000 David formulates the first Sulphate free Shampoo, we call it ‘Colour Max’

- 2005: John and Mary Centofanti take new ownership of Dresslier after being approached by the original owners
- 2007: Under John and Mary’s leadership, Stuart (3rd generation and Grandson of John Sloan) reformulates Davroe to become Australia’s first sulphate, paraben, and petrochemical free, as well as 100% vegan and cruelty-free haircare brand.

- 2011: Dresslier launches Daily Naturals, sister brand to Davroe
- 2015: Dresslier first attends international trade shows appearing at London’s Salon International and Cosmoprof Las Vegas

- 2016: Davroe expands internationally, first in the United States, then in New Zealand & Europe
Davroe makes New York Fashion Week debut
Davroe becomes a major sponsor for Little Heroes Foundation

- 2019: Davroe launches their latest rebrand
- 2020: Davroe reaches an international milestone of launching in over 20 countries worldwide
- 2021: Davroe launches key formulated haircare ranges including CURLiCUE, selling out in 48 hours

- 2024: Dresslier celebrates 40 years of Mary Centofanti’s dedicated service
